This is a guide on how to upload images to your website. When you want to add images to your site, it’s important to follow these steps. In this guide, we will cover several key points:
- Understanding the storage location of your images in WordPress.
- The process of uploading new images to a page.
To begin, ensure that you have an Elementor editing window open, on the desired page where you want to add a new image. Additionally, have another tab open for your website’s WordPress dashboard.
1. Go to the Elementor editing window where you’d like to add a new image, then drag across the image widget from the widgets sidebar.
2. The sidebar will then update so you can adjust the settings for that image. Go to the sidebar, hover over and click on the Choose Image placeholder.
3. This will open up your Media Library for your website where all images are stored, you can select an image within the library or go to the Upload Files tab to upload a new image from your computer. Once you’ve found the image on your computer, this new image will then appear in the Media Library, press Insert Media, this image will then appear within your Elementor editing window.
4. Now that the image is uploaded to the page, you can adjust the settings of that image within the Edit Image sidebar.
5. As mentioned previously all images/graphics for your site are stored within your Media Library. To view or delete images from the library, go to your website’s WordPress dashboard tab, scroll down to find the Media tab on the left side, hover over Media, and click on Library. this will then show all images that are stored on your site.
You can add images directly to your Media Library, simply click on the Add New button at the top of the page.
