THE PROBLEM

1st Attendance offers regulated fire safety training at workplaces. It is a well-established, fully accredited fire safety training company that specialises in providing fire training to businesses across the UK. 

1st Attendance came to Nivo to improve their website, rank higher in their SEO and increase their site traffic.

HOW WE ACHIEVED IT

Following exhaustive keyword research, Nivo’s content writers created a content calendar with popular topics such as fire suppression systems, smoke alarms or fire safety signage. Some of the blogs also answer frequently asked questions, such as how often to refresh fire safety training. 

The blogs were written with the aim of answering all the questions visitors may have about these topics and have been structured in such a way that a user can find what they are looking for easily – a quality that search engines value positively.

Additionally, Bristol-specific content was created to increase the website’s local SEO.

Besides writing new content, the SEO team has been monitoring keyword rankings closely, identifying the keywords that have dropped every month and updating the blogs and service pages related to those keywords with additional content and rich media. 

FINDINGS

The SEO work done by Nivo had a clear and measurable impact on their organic traffic (94.07% increase).

In the last 12 months, there has been a 1150% increase in keywords on page 1, with the number of keywords on pages 2 to 10, increasing from 162 to 542.

Moreover, in the last year, the website’s visibility has increased by 19%.
