Nivo Digital’s SEO Boost is designed to get you onto search engines as quickly as possible.
It is a one-off service that will help you get indexed by search engines and noticed early, that includes the following services:
The meta information for your website is what web users see when they get a screen of Google results:
The blue text is the title and the grey is the description. As this is the only information a user sees before deciding whether or not to click on your link, these pieces of content are highly important and need to be optimised for the appropriate keywords.
[NB: in the SEO Boost package, this service is limited to X pages per website].
Schema markup is code that you can add to your website’s HTML, to improve the way search engines read and represent your page when it appears in search results by creating rich snippets.
Essentially this means that the search engine can display more information about a page within the search results – things like star ratings, publication dates, and reviews. These rich snippets have been found to improve click-through rates.
In the example below, the top result has rich snippets while the result below does not:
Google Analytics is the tool you use to find out how your website is performing – how many people are visiting, how long they’re spending on the site, what pages they’re looking at, and so on.
We get your account up and running, and set up goals so that you can see when people perform specific actions – things like filling in a form or clicking on your phone number to call you.
Google Search Console is an extremely powerful tool. It is a free service offered by Google that helps you monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot your site’s presence in search results. Search Console helps you understand and improve how Google sees your site.
We get you set up on the console, and advise on the best ways to use it to your advantage.
There are various plugins that support ongoing SEO, for example, a tool like Yoast to help manage your meta titles and descriptions. During the SEO Boost Package, we identify and implement the appropriate plugins for your website.
The more information you can directly give to Google about your website, the better. Setting up a Google My Business account means that when someone searches for you specifically, Google will display the information you’ve provided in a Knowledge Panel:
In addition, local business listings or citations are essentially a mention of your business on other websites, where your name, address and phone number (NAP) are listed.
[NB: the SEO Boost Package includes the top 20 local business listings.]
You want Google to crawl every important page of your website, but sometimes pages end up without any internal links pointing to them, making them hard to find. An XML sitemap lists a website’s important pages, making sure Google can find and crawl them all, and helping it understand your website structure.
Page speed is a measure of how fast the content on your website loads. It’s important for SEO, because it’s one of the signals used by search engines to rank pages. It’s also important for user experience – repeated research has found that 40% of visitors will leave a site if it takes more than 3 seconds to load, and slow loading times also negatively affect conversions.
The SEO Boost Package includes a review of your current website speed, identification of any factors that might be slowing things down, and resolution of those factors – actions like implementing compression, minifying and consolidating code and optimising images.
The SEO Boost package is designed to provide a starting point for your SEO activities – it will have an impact on your search rankings, although this might not be seen immediately, it is not designed to replace long-term action.
We would always recommend ongoing, data-driven SEO continues after the boost process. We can offer these services or provide training and support to help you manage this in-house.
