If you have a Google AdWords account that you have either lost the log-in details to or you are working with an agency that doesn’t give you access or even worse they want to charge you for access then don’t fear.
You can get access to your Google AdWords account if you have been paying Google directly (not via an agency or freelancer) by following these simple steps.
Email [email protected] with the following (change where necessary)
Unfortunately, a marketing agency I used to work with / are currently working with are not providing me with access to my Google AdWords account. Please find the required information so you can force ownership for me so I can regain access to my AdWords account.
1. Payment Information
If you are billed via credit card or direct debit: Please provide the exact amount of the last charge and the date on which it was made.
If you are billed via invoicing: Please provide the exact amount and date of your last invoice. – If you are billed via bank transfer: Please provide the reference number and amount of your last transfer.
2. Payment Instrument Details
If you are billed via credit card: Please provide the type of credit card (MasterCard, VISA, Discover Card, etc.), your name as it appears on the card, the last 4 digits of the card number, and the expiration date. Please do not send your complete card number.
If you are billed via direct debit: Please provide the last four digits of your bank account number.
3. Company name and the billing address listed in your AdWords account.
4. The display URL (web address which appears in your ads) on the website you are advertising.
5. Sample keywords for one or more of your campaigns.
Thank you so much in advance and I am looking forward to hearing from you.
Along with the verification information above, they’ll also need you to specify the email address you would like us to invite to access the account.
You will, however, only be able to get access to your lost account if you are paying Google directly. If you pay via an agency then I am afraid there is no way of getting access to your AdWords account.
